This black-tie event will be the backdrop for an evening of festivities, dancing, and music. Landau will be joined by the Liquid A cover band.

The Jefferson County Ministries has been serving those in need for 40 years now, the group devotes its resources to helping those in need of emergency care and finding long-term solutions.

12th annual ‘Home For The Holidays’ tour gears up for 12 shows

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., the 2011 winner of NBC TV’s America’s Got Talent is celebrating his 12th annual “Home For The Holidays” Christmas tour by doing 12 performances in 12 different towns all over West Virginia.

The 2022 Christmas tour will feature Landau crooning his way through an all-new show filled with Christmas classics and fan favorites from the Great American Songbook. And, for the first time ever, Landau’s special guest for the holiday tour will be a non-musical variety act. “The Cline Twins, the young Canadian brothers from the 2022 America’s Got Talent season will bring their amazing hockey stick dynamics to dazzle Mountain State audiences.

“Landau’s Home For The Holidays” 2022 tour is presented by West Virginia Adult Education, and its “Never Too Late To Graduate” platform. Landau is a proud spokesperson for WVAE and received his high school equivalency diploma in a graduation ceremony earlier this year with other adult learners. WVAE staffers will be on hand at tour stops to assist those interested in earning their diplomas.

All remaining performances will go on sale next week. Landau Joining Dave Damiani at the Boca Black Box

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will be joining Dave Damiani and the No Vacancy Orchestra along with Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti for two nights at the Boca Black Box Center for the Arts in Boca Raton, Florida. The performance titled “Dave Damiani’s Pop-Up Speakeasy” will play for two nights in Boca Raton, Florida on the evenings of September 16th and 17th.

Landau is thrilled to be returning to this venue, especially with the great talents of Dave and Sal. Excited to be performing with another great singer recognized by America’s Got Talent.

Season 6 America’s Got Talent winner, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will be performing alongside an all-star lineup at the Friars Club Entertainment Icon Award Gala honoring Tracy Morgan Thursday, May 26th.

The Icon Award pays tribute to famous standup comedian, Saturday Night Live alum, and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan at the exclusive Friar Club’s Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. “The Friar’s Club is a legendary part of New York City and comedy… I’m following in the footsteps of greatness. Landau to Fund Scholarships for Marshall University Jazz Camp

Bob Noone, a leading adoption attorney in West Virginia, is teaming up with his longtime friend, America’s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. to celebrate National Foster Care Month by funding multiple scholarships for foster and adopted students to attend the Marshall University Summer Jazz Camp June 12th-17th.

Noone says that combining his love of music with his passion for foster and adopted children is “a perfect way to help kids make some lifetime memories this summer and give their parents a bit of break!”

Murphy added that “Bob’s generosity is legendary around here, and I’m so proud to join my friend to help give foster and adopted kids in West Virginia the opportunity to attend camp for free this summer!”

Students who attend Marshall’s Jazz Camp will be taught by many of Landau’s touring musicians who will serve as instructors including Camp Director Jeff Wolfe, Marshall School of Music head Dr. Martin Saunders, drummer Jesse Nolan, and bassist Danny Cecil.

Rising freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior high school students from West Virginia  who are in foster care or have been adopted are encouraged to fill out a short application form (with a video or audio clip) at www.bobnoone.com or www.landaumurphyjr.com.

Interested students and families can also register at the Bob Noone Adoptions booth at the Walk With Me 2022 event at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, WV Saturday May 21st from 10am-Noon, sponsored by Mission WV.

Marshall’s Jazz Camp, which has been in existence for more than 20 years, is an immersive six-day, five-night experience geared toward rising high school freshmen through collegiate musicians. No prior jazz experience is required. Jazz improvisation, combo playing, jazz theory, history, and instrument-specific masterclasses highlight the daily schedule. Respective campers can perform at any skill level.

Marshall Jazz Camp will be held in the Jomie Jazz Center on the Marshall University campus in Huntington, West Virginia. Camp tuition is $375. Housing and meal options are available for an additional charge. While the number of scholarships provided by Bob Noone and Landau Murphy Jr. are limited, some may include an additional amount housing and meals for students who reside outside of the Huntington, WV metropolitan area.
