Landau set to Perform at Blue Jean Ball Charity Event

America’s Got Talent Winner to Perform at Children’s Home Society of West Virginia’s 5th Annual Blue Jean Ball

America’s Got Talent Season Six Winner and West Virginia native, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. is slated to perform at the 5th Annual Blue Jean Ball benefiting the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia Saturday, September 24th at the Hollywood Casino in Charles Town, WV. The highly anticipated event will also feature dinner, dancing, a silent auction, gift swag bags for all guests, and more. All proceeds will benefit the Children’s Home Society’s work in the Eastern panhandle. Murphy is a longtime supporter of the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia and is a member of its state Board of Directors.

The Children’s Home Society of West Virginia was founded in 1896 and brought resources and organizations from around the state together to ensure that all children have access to the best opportunities for their futures. The group is oversees multiple foster care and adoption services, emergency child shelters, family recourse centers, and more serving thousands of children across the Mountain State.

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. has a long history of working with and supporting the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, dating back to his 2011 America’s Got Talent win. Murphy has released four albums, including his Billboard #1 debut “That’s Life” and his latest album “Landau Live In Las Vegas” recorded at Caesars Palace. He has appeared on dozens of television and radio shows, toured around the world performing hundreds of sold-out concerts shared the stage with Patti Labelle, George Benson, the Temptations, Cee Lo Green and many other entertainment legends. 2022 has been an especially busy year for Landau, with appearances at Global Expo/The World’s Fair in Dubai representing America in the USA Pavilion, in New York City headlining a Friar’s Club roast of comedian Tracy Morgan and a Salute to Sinatra with ’Saturday Night Live’ legend Joe Piscopo on WABC in New York, Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Globe Theatre, Florida, Myrtle Beach and residency at the legendary Greenbrier Resort in his home state of West Virginia.

Landau has helped raise millions of dollars for West Virginia charities, through his annual Christmas Kid’s Joy Toy Drive, the 2016 national flood relief telethon, as the face of the West Virginia Department of Education’s “It’s Never Too Late to Graduate” campaign and his work with the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia.

A limited number of tickets for the Blue Jean Ball are still available for $75 per person; table sponsorships may also still be available.
